Limiting other accounts

Is it possible to limit the amount of space each user
account uses?

example: my roommates use my computer, but i only want
them to have a very small amount of space for
downloading/saving etc... in other words, i dont want
them to take up all the hard drive!

Yes - this is known as a disk quota. There is an extensive discussion of
disk quotas in the Help and Support Center.

Hi Dana,

If your hard drive is formatted with the NTFS file system, then you can make
use of the 'Disk Quotas' feature. To learn more about Disk Quotas, type
"Disk Quotas" (without the quotes) in Help and Support.
