Hi community,
I have been set a new task by my manager, but have to admit that I have no
idea how to do this one!
We have a very large domain, with a remote mining site that I am going to be
transferred to next week. Within this minesite, we have quite a few
contractors, and I have been asked to set up an internet cafe for them. The
problem that I am facing however, is this:
There are eight workstations that have been assigned to be used, they are to
be left off of my domain and set up into a small workgroup of there own
(easy) but, after the installation of Windows XP, all that my management
would like to see as available is Internet Explorer, they want the clients
locked out of everything else.
Usually of course, one would do this by Group Policy, but I do not have that
luxury. The systems will be linked together and have a small printer
attached, and have an anti virus pattern on them.
Like I said, I've never done THIS before, so if anybody can assist me, it
would be much appreciated.
