Limiting a user's logon hours - Unique

I came across a unique requirement. I've been asked to
limit 6 users to a certain number of hours in a day.
Please note that this cannot disallow (or only allow) 6
hours at a specific time of every (or any) day. But
rather these 6 users will have access for up to a number
of hours at any point in the day, until their time
is "spent" for the day.

I cannot seem to find any way of doing this with Windows
2000.

Does anyone have a suggestion, an answer or can this be
accomplished with Windows 2003 server?

There is no way to do that with the operating system in W2K or W2003 [well any
usual way, the scripting guys may come up with some method] which can do
restrict access by schedule as you mentioned. You may want to look into third
party solutions such as the link below for Net Nanny as an example. --- Steve

Linksys BEFSX41 has that as an optional setting IIRC.

Progressives are mere Socialists who plan on being
"In Charge" after they make everyone else "equal".
