Just downloaded & installed the newest version of MSAS. (I did uninstall the
old version first, deleted the MSA folder that remained and deleted the
"gcUncompress.dll" file). I installed from my account which is an
administrator account and everything seemed to function properly. However,
when my wife logged in under her account (non administrator) an error box
appeared saying "Unexpected error - quitting". It then tried to continue
loading with a simlar error and then the "101" error message. Under Task
Manager, I see that "gcasServ.exe" is running but there is no bullseye icon
in the systray area.
I can run the program from her account by using the "Run as..." option in
the right-click menu and using my account name & password. I have read that
this new version will only work for administrators but how come the older
betas ran in my wifes account when this one doesn't.
If this can't be corrected, is there a way to stop the error box from
popping up when my wife logs on?
