Update does not seem to work correctly under a limited
user account. I keep receiving a notification for the
same updates, I choose the install option and I get a
confirmation message that they have been installed, but
in fact they havent. Do I need to grant permission to
some files for the limited account?

You have do updates in a Administrator account.

You have a limited user account running the application looking for spyware
on all files and folders. This includes the administrator account which
limited users may not be able to access. So we have to approach this
carefully in order to remove the spyware from all locations, but also
preserve file and folder permissions and access.

In short, we are addressing this for a future release, but it involves some
major coding and testing.

use the Runas command when you want to update Microsoft
Antispyware on limited account by right clicking the
application icon and choose Runas, select the following
user: type a username that you have with administrative
privelege and then the password. Run as means giving
application a administrative privelege.

hopefully Microsoft Antispyware final version can update
definition under limited account and able to work under
limited account.

I would just wait until beta 2 since it is already know that it will be
fixed in that release. For now, just do it under Admin account since updates
aren't released frequently.
