limited contacts in outlook 2002

Can someone help me with this, it's giving me a,"I have
reached the limit of how many contact I can create. can
you please help me with this

Is this a .PST file or an Exchange mailbox? A .PST file in Outlook 2002 can
handle about 65,000 items per folder, or 65,000 subfolders per folder.
You'd need to split the contacts between multiple folders to get around the
limitation.
