I've just upgraded my churches multimedia PC to 64 bit Vista home premium.
For obvious reasons the normal user has a limited account but it has the
irritation that when you log on to this account a message box headed "RaUI"
pops up saying "You have no 'Admiistrator' privilege, so some features may
not work successfully. You then have to press OK to clear the box. We
don't need this!!! Can this check be turned off?

TIA

I don't think it's from Windows. It sounds to me like it's from a program
starting up. "RaUI" looks like "Ra User interface" to me.

If I'm right, you'll have to figure out on your own what that is, unless
someone in this NG happens to be familiar with this item. Then maybe you
can configure it to drop the message.

Download the free Autoruns program from Microsoft. It can show you what's
starting up with Windows. If you're not familiar with it, let me warn you:
it's overwhelming :-)

OK, I Googled for raui (you should too). There are lots of hits; it's from
"Edimax Wireless Utility from Edimax Technology", says one hit. Google and
look and see if you can work it out from the info you get.

Thanks for the info. We are running a wireless internet link as the
computer is at the back of Church. I'll have a look. I've used Autoruns
and agree - the amount of stuff that loads at startup is scary - no wonder
it takes so long!
