limitation of the size of the url

Hello,

Could you please tell me what if the size of the url is
limited in IE6. Because I've try a very very very
(very...) long url. It works with other browsers but not
with IE6

As you suspected, it is limited by the bowser (i.e., there is no de-facto
"standard").

In IE, the maximum URL length is 2083 characters. If you are using the GET
method (i.e., URLs with visible inline variables) the limit is 2048
characters.
