Hello...

I'd like to disallow all users except those of my choosing
from logging onto the network at a specific station. In
other words, for one specific computer I only want one
network user to log onto the network...that user and all
other users can log onto any other machine.

Simply not defining users on the client is not enough,
because when an undefined local user logs into the network,
a network user is created on the client, allowing them to
log on. Hope I made myself clear here.

Any suggestions? Win2k-Pro and Win2k-Server.

You can define who can access a computer locally or via the nework
in Local Security Policy/security settings/local polices/uer right
assignments. Keep in mind that the deny settings override allow settings so
use with caution. Generally it is best not to use deny settings since if you
are not in the allowed group, you are implicitly denied anyhow. It is
possible that domain/OU settings can or may need to be configured if they
override local policy. --- Steve
