Limit profile size

How can I limit the user profile size in a most effective way?
(The local Quota and refusing to save the larger files are not
suitable here...) I would like to prevent users from exceeding
the prescribed amount of roaming profile because otherwise
the roaming profile is saved locally....Users should clean their
roaming profile before they logoff....

Use group policies
Choose the domain, site or OU you want... Create a new GPO (or edit an existing one)...
Go to
User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> User profiles

Use the option "Limit users profile size". There is also a good explanation at EXPLAIN Tab
