Limit on SMB connections

I know that Win 2000 pro and Win XP pro limit 10 SMB
connections. But is there any such limit for Win NT
server, Win 2000/2003 server ?
I have a client claiming that Micosoft told him that there
is a 25 connection limit for SMB printing. I thought that
on Win 2000/2003 server, the SMB connections are limited
by the # of CALS purchased.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Shawn

Your client is misinformed.

AFAIK, server CALs purchased only has an effect on the SMB connection limit
if you are licensed "per seat" instead of "per server." I always license
per server so I have never tested this.
