Hi,
Anyone out there know if there is a 1000 record limit in
access before certain items no longer work? I have a
dropdown list in my query that no longer displayed the
data after I input the 1000th record. I could manually
type in the info I'm looking for, but the dropdown list
now only displays "is not null" and "is null" .

If there is a limit, is there a way around this? Thanks in
advance for any help out there. Andi

Not to my knowledge. I've built queries returning 10,000,000 rows.

A "dropdown list" (aka a Combo Box) has a limit of 65536 rows. Just
what are you doing? Is this combo on a Form, in a Query, or what?

Yes, there is a limit on the number of items shown in the filter by forms view.

Go to Tools, Options, Edit-Find tab and change the value in the Don't Display
lists where more...

Note that this larger the number the more time it will take to open the filter
by form window.
