limit folder size

Hi,
Is there a way to limit the size of a folder? we have
user home directories on a server and we need to set a
limit to, say, 500 mb.

Yes, you have to set quotas.

You can enable disk quotas on a per user basis and set the limit to 500
mb. Just look in help and it will show you how.
