limit appointments to full hours

Is there a way to only allow for appointments of 1 full hour or multiple of 1 hour. THe peron in the office who is responsible for scheduling appointments sometimes "knows better" than everyone else and schedules appointments in 30 minute increments. I have set the default time and display on the calendar to be 1 hour but when scheduling this person just drops down the list and picks 30 minutes. Then when the appointments run in excess of 30 minutes, which they always do, every thing backs up and people get upset.

We have already told the person scheduling NOT to do this but...

Thanks,

Bruce

You might be able to use VBA... see outlookcode.com. Unfortunately, it's
hard to control behavior with technology. Better is to put some teeth behind
your words - hire someone who is willing to follow your directions.

Diane,

I would love to get rid of this person. Things would be so much less stressful and complicated here. However, this person is kind of "tenured" so getting rid of them would take an act of God. It isn't going to happen. This individual knows more than anyone and even after having been told not to do certain things does them anyway. And to make it even worse, instructs others that it is okay to schedule 30 minute appointments. Those individuals we CAN correct.

I will go the vba route. I was hoping that there was something simple. I will create a form that looks like the standard form but when I populate the combo box I will just put in full hour increments.

Thanks,

Bruce
