Windows XP Limewire works intermittently

I would have thought if it was being blocked by router firewall or XP firewall it wouldnt work at all? Generally starts fine then loses connection - any ideas?

Poor choice of of thread heading, something like ... "I have an intermittent connection problem with one program" would stand you a better chance of getting an answer.
