Lightscribe Drive Fails

I have two machines, both with OEM Lightscribe LG GH22LS50 BURNER
DRIVEs.
One works just fine - burns DVDs and labels thereon. The other
however, will burn a DVD but is not recognized as a Lightscribe drive.
I have tried to find a driver for the drive, thinking that is the
problem. I can't find one. DriverAgent does not recognize the drive
as needing a driver. This leaves me thinking the drive simply is bad.
Think so?
