I am running LifeCam VX-6000 on Windows XP Professional. I have two accounts
set up on the computer. I have no problems with the LifeCam program on one
account. Whenever logging into/signing on/opening up the other account,
however, two screens come up in succession. The first screen is the Microsoft
LifeCam "Adjusting audio and video settings" reminder with the diagrams of
the camera and microphone. After closing that one, another screen pops up,
Microsoft LifeCam, "Now that the software is installed, connect your webcam
by plugging the USB connector into a USB port on your computer...."

I have already done the setup on both accounts on my computer, but the
screens keep popping up on the second account. What do I need to do to keep
these screens from popping up each time I sign into the second account on
this computer?

SOLVED.

Go into your LifeCam install folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\Microsoft
LifeCam) and rename/move/delete (but preferably rename in case you need it
back later) the LifeExp.exe application (the launcher app for the pop-up).
