This question has probably been asked a thousand times,
so I'm sorry.

I have a maximum of 8 computers on a network, with more
than 8 users using these computers. My AD server has
already logged 10 licenses, which is the maximum.

1. How does the logging of licenses actually work in
2000 using AD?

2. How do I stop it from thinking that the maximum has
been reached? I thought this issue was supposed to be
fixed in SP4, but I have that installed?

Thanks for your help...

You probably need to change from Per-Server Licensing to Per-Seat
Licensing. That way Windows will assume that each client has a
license and will not keep track of licensing.

This will assume that you have the legal number of licenses for all
the clients that connect.
