Will the licensing service on windows 2000 server prevent
access to authentication if 2000 client cals are not
purchased.

The licensing service gives you 90 days if you dont
purchase terminal server cals?
 
No, The server has NO way of knowing if your purchased 1 or 1 million CALS. I usually crank it up to 999 since it's a joke anyway.... Unless you paranoid about SPA coming to your (house?) if you own a business you might want to think about Linux... It's free

TS CALS? Windows 2000 server gives you two free to use.... If you neeed more then you must buy more
