Licensing Server

Not sure where to ask this question... thanks in advance for reading.

I recently removed a dc server from our environment using dcpromo (it was
win 2k server). Now I have 2 win2k3 servers in the environement (both DCs)
and they produce the following event in the log

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: LicenseService
Event Category: None
Event ID: 213
Date: 29/11/2004
Time: 11:48:20 AM
User: N/A
Computer: DC1
Description:
Replication of license information failed because the License Logging
Service on server OLD_REMOVED_DC could not be contacted.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
Data:
0000: 17 00 02 c0 ...À


Of course, I replaced the actual server name with OLD_REMOVED_DC.

How can I make the two new servers stop looking for the old one for
licensing replication?

you could simply disable the license logging service on all your servers.
I guarantee the events will go away :-)

By default the first DC is a license server but
a non-DC can also be a license server.
