I am trying to come up with a solution to a performance problem with a
new product I'm designing and just had a strange thought which prompts
2 questions.
1) I think the XPe Licence covers up to 2 processors. Is this correct?
2) If the answer to #1 is yes, does that mean We could put 2 complete
motherboards/HDDs in one device? This would still appear to the user as
a single device.
The reason I am considering this is that 2 cheaper SBCs would gain us
the performance and features we are looking for at a better price than
one high spec board.
This would add other complications for communication etc. but I think it
would be just viable (at least worth looking into further) as long as we
don't
need two XPe licences per device.
