We have a live production site in cheshire running Windows 2000 Server
Advanced licensed accordingly.

We also have a development site in bristol also running Windows 2000 Server
Advanced, licensed under MSDN (cos it is for development only). Bristol is
also our Disaster Recovery site for cheshire.

In the event of a disaster, we need to change the licensing of Bristol from
MSDN to a "regular" license. How do we do this, can we re-install the OS and
enter the product key from cheshire's servers???

Any info and / or supporting links would be great

Well, in the event of a disaster, I don't think you really want to spend a
lot of time reinstalling your operating systems, do you? I sure wouldn't.

I think you should set up properly licensed servers now in your DR site.
Keep your lab separate. And the best place to ask licensing questions is of
Microsoft directly....I suggest you call them or a knowlegable reseller.
