Licensing library

Hi,

First sorry for posting here... This is maybe not the correct newsgroup.
However, I cannot figure out which I should use ;-)

I received the task of providing a way to prevent the usage of your software
solution without being explicitly licensed. This includes preventing the
user of performing a "ghost" and installing again onto another machine
without asking first for a license transfer (So, the license should be
applied for a given machine).

To do so, I do not want to reinvent the wheel again :-)
- Does anyone knows about existing libraries to be used (preferably
non-commercial one)?

I've been using a commercial library for .NET named "Xheo" for a couple
of months now, and it has support for software activation and locking a
software package to a particular computer. The support guy there, named
Paul, has been very helpful.

Yep - I'm sure it's a good product - just make sure you read the light
grey/on white background disclaimer. Seems kind of ironic that a
security licensing company can't secure their own product to a level
that they can accept returns.

After reviewing it I've deviced we're probably not going to use it. Can
I return/cancel this order - I have not installed the SW with the above
serial # - just used the trial version.
