I have 5 licenses available to me, and planning on buying
10 more. I was doing some testing (I am incredibly new to
Terminal Servers), and used 4 licenses. I am running 2k
with no service packs (the person who set up the Terminal
Server neglected to Service Pack it, so now I've gotta
clean up her mess.)
Anyhoo, the 4 Licenses that I have used that are not valid
are not going to expire ever... the expire field just has
a "-" in it. I have 5 more clients that are using
temporary licenses, and would kind of like to get them to
use the licenses that I have bought and will not expire.
Who do I have to contact to do this? I can't find
anything in the KB to find it, or any contact info on
Microsofts site.
Should I upgrade to SP3 now or after I get the licenses
squared away? Should I not SP it at all? Should I slap
SP4 on (assuming there is an SP4)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It would be great if you could email me any responses!
Thanks
