Does anyone know how many licenses come with Access 2003.
I have created several database applications my wife uses
for work which she does out of the house. I have been
using AlphaFour databases but want to switch over to
Access. I want to have Access on my computer to do the
developing, but want to also put it on my wife's laptop
so she will stay off mine...lol. I dont want to shell out
the money to buy the developer version to get the run-
time. Does it allow more than 1 installation ?

One, Jason. I haven't looked at the EULA for Access 2003, some of the
earlier EULAs did say that you could install on two PCs for your own use,
e.g. a desktop and a notebook, but only if there was no possibility of two
different people using the two PCs at the same time. To install Access on
your wife's notebook, for her use, without a separate licence, would
definitely be a breach of the licensing agreement.

If your wife already has one of the editions of Office that don't include
Access on her notebook, you might want to check whether upgrading to Office
Pro might be a less expensive option.
