Is it free to run Terminal Service on Windows 2000 Advanced server?
How about on Windows 2000 standard server?

I know I can install the package, I just don't know if it requires its
own license.

Thanks,

It depends. Windows 2000 Terminal Services (Remote Adminstration Mode) can support 2 concurrent Remote Desktop Sessions w/o any extra licenses. If you want to use Terminal Services to deploy applications or Windows Desktops to multiple users then you need a Windows CAL & Terminal Services CAL for each connection. Windows 2000 Pro & XP Pro receive a free license when they logon to a 2000 Terminal Server, so you'd need TSCALs for any other client OS
