How possible is this?

I would like to implement 2 Metaframe FR3 server in a
single FARM as below:

Server1:
W2K with "TS License Server" in a Windows Domain
FR3

Server2:
W2K with "TS License Server" in a Windows Workgroup
FR3

1) The constraints here is that both server are not in
the same Windows Domain, but I would like to have them in
the same FARM with dedicated assigned connection licenses.

2) Since each server will be installed with its own "TS
License Server", is it possible avoid cross license
isssuing. This mean I do not want Server1 to issue any
license to client connecting to Server2, in case Server2
runs out of license.

Any ideal?

You can force each server to look to a certain license
server. Check out this link:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;239107&Product=win2000

However, if you are in a Windows 2000 domain, then you
must have the license server on a domain controller. If
you aren't in a domain, then the license server can be on
a member Windows 2000 server or the terminal server itself.

As far as issuing licenses to only certain
computers...this isn't possible. The license server
issues licenses on a first come first served basis.
However, using the link above, you can force each terminal
server to look to a certain license server, which might
help to partition which clients have access to which
licenses.

Server1 is actually in an NT domain and the TS License
Server is installed on W2K which also host Metaframe. I
am planing to join another Server2 into the Metaframe FARM
but it will not be joined into the NT domain.

Since both servers are actually in different domain, I
believe there should not cross-issuing of license. I will
check the option on the link.

Thanks
