I reciently had to replace a hard drive in my system...
Not that bad because I have full backups that I can
restore from... Or so I thought.

Now the restored system boots, but when I log in starts
complaining about a license problem then simply logs me
out.

I suspect the system "thinks" this is a cloned system
because the drive upon which it is installed has changed,
thus the license complaint... How can I fix this?

Thanks!

XP repair re-install on top of the installed version. This will correct the
XP activation, altough your will need to re-activate and re-apply all
updates/service packs.

Y.
