Hi Al
When my new computer came a friend set it up for me, it came with the Microsoft Works Suite, and he said that he had put on Office97, but recently I lost all the information on my hard drive, I have reloaded the programs, and Office97 from the disk he left but I am getting an error saying that I can't use Access because it is not licenced on this computer, presuming that Access came on the Office 97 disk and not the Works Suite how come I can use XL and Word, but not Access, and where do I get a licence to use Access from
" Sorry " these questions my seem a bit amateurish but I am still learning about computering
My thanks in antisipation. Robert

Hello Robert!

Have a look at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;191224, it's a well
known problem...
