Hi

I've got a SBS 2000 Server (+CALS) with TS installed in
administration mode (for me), and with a TS Licence
Server installed and activated.

I've also got a 2000 Server (+CALS) within the same
domain and with TS in application sharing mode (for my
users).

How do I know if this 2000 Server has found the TS
Licence Server on the SBS Server (The DC) and is no
longer just in the 90 day grace period? I believe it
requires connection to the Licence Server before the end
of the 90 days or it stops working?

All my clients are *currently* 2000pro boxes.

Thanks.

Check within the TS Licensing Manager if your clients are getting
"Existing Windows 2000 licenses, Type: built-in, Available:
unlimited".
Also check for (the absence of) EventID on the Terminal Server (1004=
cannot issue a TS CAL; 1010 = cannot locate a Licensing Server).

Ahh

Good stuff then, had a look and have not had a 1010 on the
second server since I installed/activated the License
manager on the DC. :)

The License manager on the DC shows a tree view with the
only server being itself (list of license servers i
gather), to which it reports the exsiting 2k licenses like
you said.

Thanks!
