Hi,

When Vista is finally released I am highly persuaded to buy, however having
a notebook and a desktop computer, is there any way MS would let me install
on both systems? without buying two copies?

Thanks,

well thanks for the 'to the point' reply lol.

Anyone know of any small package to buy more licences?

You could buy one Vista DVD and a Extra-License that will cost a bit less
than the package with media and license.

Amazon had the prices on their webshop. It wasn't that high saving, but
better ask a Microsoft SalesPerson for details.

The question you should ask yourself is whether you need the same
version of Vista on both computers, you might be able to save some money
by buying a "lesser" version for the laptop.

Sure. But still you do not need to buy in fact two full packages, because
all the Vista Versions are on the DVD.
If you go and install Vista RC1 without a Key you will see it because then
you can choose which edition you want to install.
From Starter over Home to Ultimate, including the European "N" Editions -
they are all on one DVD.

Alone the Key decides what you will get.

The key is what you really pay for.
Do not be confused because most versions are on the same CD.
The key determines which version is installed.

Yes I know. In most companies these days it is handled that way.

Software is free to try few days , then turns into Demo mode until you
register/buy.

I think that is ok and a fair deal.
Those 14 days in Vista are more than enough to check if a machine will
handle it.
