LIBRARY function won't work MMC 7.7.0.1

I'm using ATI AIW 128 PRO card, and just installed MMC 7.7.0.1 and
it's working OK now. However, LIBRARY program does not work. Went to
ATI site and it says to install MMC 8.1 or later to resolve the
problem

Question: Will MMC 8.1 work with the older ATI AIW 128 PRO card? If
so, anyone know a link to MMC 8.1?

Well known problem, Jim, there's a .dll missing from the Library install for
several MMC 7.x versions. Check the Rage3D forum at
http://www.rage3d.com/board/ for a thread on this; the .dll is,
appropriately enough, called atioops.dll. You should find a download link,
and instructions on installing it, in the thread. The immediate workround
is to uninstall the Library; its non-function seems to interfere with the
other MMC apps. It's generally a good idea not to install apps you don't
want in a suite like MMC; for instance, many people don't install the CD
player: they may have better CD players already and it's a bit of a file
association hog.

I don't know if the MMC 8.xs will work with an AIW 128 Pro; all the older
(7.x and before)MMC versions will work with that card because it has the
Rage Theater chip, but MMC 8.x is a bit of an unknown so far.
