How would I go about showing that only books not on loan
can be borrowed in my library database.

Can anyone help.
 
Yes we can. The problem is that we can't see your library from across the
internet.

Without knowing your table structure, I'm groping in the dark a bit;
but consider using the "Unmatched Query Wizard" to find those records
in the Holdings table that have no match in the Loans table.
