LG.Philips LCD, a leading liquid crystal display manufacturer, on Tuesday
announced its largest-ever quarterly loss and plans to reinvest in
notebook and monitor screen facilities.

For the three-month period ending June 30, the Dutch-Korean joint venture
reported a net loss of 322 billion won ($341 million), compared with a
profit of 41 billion won in the same period last year.

but why in a printer group?

The day there is a monitor group in english, I'll post there. The is a
hardware group, but most people who write here don't write there and I
would think they're still interested in hardware in general, not only
printers.

Yes, but when the main subject is printers then all you need to do is
put an OT in front of the your subject

Maybe I should have. But since Philips-LG does not make printer, it was
quite evident.

Case closed, as far as I am concerned. Our present discussion is not very
printer specific either.
