I have a pretty new LG monitor that when I try to change the resolution from
800x600 the monitor goes into analog mode and says Out Of Range (35.5khz/87hz)
I have gone to the LG website and downloaded the driver, but when I go to
Control Panel>Display>Settings>Advanced>Monitor to change the default monitor
the Properties button isn't highlighted to click on. Anyone have any
thoughts? Also, after I downloaded the drivers and opened the folders I can't
do anything with them. Help

I fairly certain the higher resolution is only available if your video
adapter is capable of it, so it appears your drivers for your video adapter
are not installed properly or are out of date, look into reinstalling them
and or troublshooting them first.

Under Display Settings > advanced click on the Adapter tab. Then click list
all modes.

This will tell you what your video adapter is capable of displaying. you
might try setting the Monitor refresh rate to 60 Hz to start with.
