After upgrading my LG LW70 Express notebook to Vista the sound has never
worked, and LG offers no fix.

Does anyone know where can I find sound drivers?

Do you know what audio adapter is used in your notebook? Realtek, Sigma Tel,
etc.?
Anything in Control Panel > Device Manager, expand Sound, video and game
controller?
Or searching on LG's web site for your notebook model number?

Vista only shows the audio device as a 24-bit High Definition Audio Device
with no further details.

The notebook originally came with Windows XP and used a C-Media 9880L
(Azalia) Audio Codec. The Cmedia sound driver was version
5.12.01.008.62(70.2)

Cmedia don't list any Vista sound drivers for the 98xx series.

Any ideas?
