It quit printing for no known reason. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it.
Clicked on Print Test Page. It printed one line and froze up. Now it says
Printing in Progress.Tried to cancel print job and it won't. Tried to
uninstall and it says Printer Busy. I used Start/Run/regedit/etc. and I
can't remove all of it that way. Time for a new one?

Thanks in advance,Harry

I had the Z33 too, it was cheaper to buy a Z34 rather than two new
cartridges! Check out the Canon range, I have the i550, great fast printer
and the ink is cheap too!

Welcome to the crazy world of Lexmark. Did you try turning off the
computer? That sometimes helps. I sometimes have to unplug the power
to the printer and the USB cable and then TURN OFF the computer and
then connect the printer back up again.

Sometimes that process takes so long I forget what I was doing and go
eat lunch, or something.

But the price is right, right?

Try this. Note always use left click.
Go to Start, Settings, Printers.
Double click on your printer.
Click on properties.
Now click on details
Then click on Print Spooling.
Change the settings to Raw.
If that fixes the trouble, you had a corrupted "spool file".
