My printer will not print when I sent a test print My
computer tells me it is printing but nothing prints.
could you please tell me what to do.I now have 3 test
print documents waiting to print don't know what is
wrong. when I check on my printers in my computer it
shows a black check mark next this particular printer.
 
Is printer plugged in and turned on? Easy mistake to make. If so you may
have to check in DEVICE MANAGER to see if LPT port is online. If all else
fails you may have to uninstall the printer from XP.Shutdown. Disconnect the
printer. And then reboot. Shutdown again. Reconnect printer and reboot. If
XP finds unknown hardware reinstall the printer driver.

Are you using a parallel cable to connect the printer to the computer or USB
?
