Either the cable is faulty
or
There is no power from the socket you connected the power lead to
or
The power lead is not connected to the power source correctly
or
The 'transformer' inside the printer has blown
Scenarios 1, 2 and 3 are easy. Scenario 4 requires either you return the
printer to Lexmark and they repair it, or you purchase another printer. If
it's still under guarantee, contact them. If it's not, think about getting
a replacement from another manufacturer.
