Printer lexmark 73 is it compatiable with compaq 7600? If
not is there a way we can get it to work with Compaq 7600?

You need to buy 2 more things first:

1. Buy an HP printer.
2. Buy a boat. Use your Lexmark as a baot anchor.

Wre have an X73 and it is bar none the worst printer that
I have encountered in 12 yrs vis a vis installation,
maintenance, Lexmark support. It was a waste of money.
Encourage all of your family and friends to buy anything,
even a black slateboard and chalk, rather than any of the
Lexmark POS (pieces of shit)

Go to the Lexmark website and download XP drivers for it.. the software must
be installed BEFORE connecting the printer..

Do NOT, I repeat NOT, under any circumstances buy an HP printer!

I have just thrown one away (5650). If I descriped it as crap it woul
be an insult to crap. Sometimes it would print fine (well rarel
actually) usually it would print just garbage and just as often i
would simply not print at all.

Smashing the thing up was the only plesure it gave me. I have no
bought a Lexmark, and hey it works!

Buy anb HP and you are asking for troubhle
