You attempt to scan a document/image using the Scan & Copy Control Program and the
status changes from Ready to Busy but nothing happens. The Scan & Copy Control
Program then closes. To resolve this:
Disconnect and uninstall the Lexmark software from the PC.
Disconnect and uninstall the Kodak Digital camera.
Windows 98/Me/XP:
Right click on Start.and select Explore.
Click on the plus sign (+) beside C: (local hard drive) to expand it.
Click on the plus sign (+) beside Windows.
Click on the plus sign (+) beside Twain_32.
Delete the contents of this folder.
Restart the PC.
Reinstall the Lexmark driver.
Try to scan an image.
Note: This may also occur with other digital camera manufacturers using twain
drivers. This occurs when more than one device is using a twain driver, leading to a
conflict with the Lexmark software.
