If there is absolutely no sign of anything working on the printer, the power
supply unit inside the printer has probably died. Since it's nice and new,
take it back and replace it.

1) Lose the caps, it's considered yelling, is incredibly rude and makes
your posts very hard to read.

2) How in Hades is installing the driver going to magically cause the
printer to power on? Were you born stupid, or have you taken Stupidity 101?

thanks guys for your advice but am now working on sending it back to the seller in sydney, thanks

Hi,
Try to attach your power adapter properly then press
the power button on.

Good Day!

Is the wall outlet good that the printer is plugged into? Ya never know
sometimes. If it is it may be a defective printer, take it back.....
