I've gotten it going. I had to manually set the envelope settings in Word to
suit the Lexmark. I did this by trial and error without the worried and
frustrated user looking over my shoulder. Next day the panicked user couldn't
print his emails, I had to set up and save in the Lexmark preferences a
separate setting for printing envelopes and a default a4 print. The user has
just upgraded from Word 97 where every had worked seamlessly. One step
forward 2 steps backward as usual. Thanks for your time. Regards
