My printer stopped working with a mesage (forgotten).

Took it apart and behind the Cartridge assembly (the mechanism that
moves) there is a small lever that looks like it sprung with a small
spring, which I found loose beneath it. One end looks like it connects
to the lever, but I do not know where the other goes.

Can anyone please help.

Thanks in advance

You should seek help from Lexmark. This newsgroup is oriented toward
software issue involving Windows XP and printing as well as issues with
Windows XP's built in fax application. If there is not a Lexmark newsgroup,
try support from the Lexmark website.
