Lexmark problem - print cover open

Hi.

My Lexmark X3470 printer suddenly won't allow me to do anything as it
continually comes up with message cover open,even though it is fully
closed. Does anyone know where sensor is located on unit so I can see
if I can switch sensor off manually.

See if this is any help from Lexmark. It talks about a lever that can be
knocked off from the sensor switch. It doesn't locate the lever, but on my
Z715 if you open the cover, you can see a lever over to the right of the
hinges that's probably the one. I think you will have to remove the printer
shell to get to it. Good luck
