need to know how to get win.xp to run my lexnark 1000 color printer i got new drivers off of lexmark for XP but XP wont except them WHAT DO I DO NEXT??

At below address thiere are two links, one is instructions to install the
driver (do read), the other link is to download the driver-file.

Above said I am useing on my XP-HE for an 1100 (same driver as 1000).

(If confused by this post, then just ignore)

Please be advised that the 'Instructions' mentioned in my last post are also
enclosed within the self-extracting zipped-file "cj201100se", which is
possibly the file that you downloaded from Lexmark.

The folly of this is that you will not have instructions on how to unzip the
file until you have done so, and then you might not realize where the
instruction file is. Thus perhaps take a copy of the same-said instruction
on Lexmark page.

Apart from reading the Instruction on Lexmark page, the same html-document
is (when "cj201100se" is run) available at C:\LXK1000\Instructions(.html).
