Letting Windows choose the best Display Settings

I have had a display software issue sorted out by PC World and all is
OK but I cannot seem to get back to the display settings that I had
before the issue.

I seem to remember that I found a button that said 'Let Windows adjust
the display for the best settings' or similar. This gave me excellent
results. I cannot find the button/menu again.

Can anyone guide me?

Click Start, point to Settings, Control Panel, click System. In System
Properties panel click the Advanced tab then under Performance click the
Settings button, in Performance Options panel, under Visual Effects tab
activate the radio button besides 'Let Windows choose what's best for my
computer'. Click the Apply button, the OK - DONE.
