Letters are running together

When I print to my LAN printer documents print fine. When
I print to my desktop printer, a Brother HL-1240 Laser
Printer, the letters run together and seem to be a
different font than the document electronically.

Please help!!!

That sounds very much like a driver issue. Drivers for this specific
printer are not available in Windows 2000, so updating to Brother's latest
drivers on their website may resolve your issue.
