letters appear in taskbar when opening webpages

When I open IE, instead of seeing "Yahoo" in the taskbar I see the letter
"C". If I switch to another site, I see a different letter, like "M" Right
now in this site I am seeing the letter "h" displayed in the taskbar instead
of the name of the website. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

I would really appreciate some help with this.
