The alphabetical letter tabs down the right side of Outlook Contacts are very
useful allowing me to quickly jump to all of my contacts, for example, whose
last names start with 'G.' Even more helpful would be a second line of
alphabetical tabs linked to the first names of my contacts, so first I use
the first set of tabs to link to everyone whose last name starts with 'G' and
then the second set of tabs to link to a subset of everyone whose first name
starts with 'S' within the that group. I would not have to scan through all
the 'G's,' just quickly jump to the person(s) with the initials S.G.
On the programming side of this, you could make it very easy by including a
box for Initials to be filled out when a contact form is being filled out.

Have you ever found the window in the toolbar that says "type a Contact here
to find" that will take you straight to any Contact.

You can type Fre Smi to get to Fred Smith. Or just Smith or just Fred, or
even his company name.

Judy, Judy, Judy! That thing requires me to use the keyboard. We are
talking about a very lazy guy here. The tabs let me just point with my mouse.
